Baroque Motif

Yesterday's Color Challenge on SCS's was to use Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron and Real Red.  I like this color combination.  I used SU's Baroque Motif.  I borrowed this set from my Cuz Roslyn.  I have been so busy with the auction I am co-chair that my little bit of stamping time yesterday was just what I needed.

Last Night's Sketch Challenge

Jammybella was one of the first Paper Pretties boxes I received.  She is my all occasion Bella.  I used SU's Cutie Pie Designer Paper along with Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery card stock.  I paper pieced her pants.  I finished it off with a Prima.

October's Stampin In Your Jammies

Tonight was the Paper Pretties Stampin In Your Jammie's.  The first challenge was a technique challenge and it was to make a sour cream container.  Mine was terrible but I only had 15 minutes to do since I started late.  The second challenge was a color challenge.  We had to use the following colors:  Straw, Rust and a Dark Purple.  I used Pompomabella.  I used SU's Really Rust, Always Artichoke and Summer Sun.  The patterned paper was some I had picked up in Baton Rouge.  Tomorrow I will show you the card for the 3rd challenge.

New Bella's in the House

For the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday Emily at Stampingbella had a no shipping cost special.  How could you not get bella's?  My good friend Jill and I placed an order together and this was in the mailbox today.  I can not wait to ink mine up.  I got Blingabella and bridalpartybellas to make cards for my cousin who is getting married in May.  The blue baubles are for the bridesmaids cards.  Now lets go ink them up.

Wood Challenge

Last weeks Ways to Use Challenge was to use wood.  I made this Picture Frame.  I had a bunch of frames laying around and loved this paper.  The only thing is now the scrapbook store is out of this paper and I want to make more like this one.  I am hoping the scrapbook store in Baton Rouge will have some.

Homemade Photography Box

Roxy has some of the best sketch challenges on SCS.  I made this for yesterday's challenge.  I wanted to make something I could use for a monthly swap I am in.  I used SU's Bold Brights.  The stamp set is SU's Flaky Friends.  This set was one of my first stamp sets I owned.  I call it Old Faithful.

Purely Priceless

Yesterday's SCS's Color Challenge was to use Going Gray, Purely Pomegranate and Soft Sky.  I think these colors really go together well.  I used SU's Priceless stamp set that I borrowed from my CUZ.  I used the Rock n Roll technique for the Butterflies.  I am not sure if I like the brads.  The brads are the new ones from SU.  I do not like how they sit on the paper.  They do not go flush against the back of the card stock.

Trying to use more Designer Paper

I really like how this card came out.  I cased it from the SCS guest designer challenge.  I used SU's Dog Gone It.  The designer paper is SU's Cutie Pie.

Cruisabella

I keep stamping with my Bella's.  I can not seem to go to any other stamp right now.  I colored Cruisabella several times and then this last time I got black ink on the white from my hands.  That is why I sponged around the edges.  I think it came out cute.  I used Royal Rose and Certainly Celery.  Doesn't every Bella have gold chrome?

Maybe my Last PomPomabella

This is for today's card sketch challenge on SCS's.  I think this is my favorite challenge.  I might even make another card today with this sketch.  I used PomPomabella.  The tiger paper I found at our local scrapbook store.  It is made by sports solution.  I than used SU's Summer Sun, Always Artichoke, Whisper White and Basic Black.  I am always scared to write on my cards but did not have a Go Tigers Stamp so I wrote it myself.  The ribbon is May Art.  I love May Art ribbon.
