Today's challenge was the Featured Stamper Challenge. Here is my card and the card I cased. I used Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy and Creamy Caramel. I brayed the sky and the ground. I was glad to use the brayer because I had not used it in awhile. I like the SU set A Tree for all Seasons but do not use it very much. Maybe I will now that it is sitting on my table.

My neighbor across the street invites me to participate in her annual Christmas Marketplace for the local doctor's office manager association. This year the Market Committee asked me to make some Fleur De Lis themed cards. Here is the first one I made. I have never really stamped on vellum very much, but I really like how it came out. I discovered tonight though that SU's gold brushed paper does not stick well with liquid adhesive to a cuttle bugged piece of card stock. I used glue dots to adhere it and it worked really well. Sorry about so much black lately. Between Halloween and black being my sister's favorite color what can I say.
I made this card for this weeks color challenge on SCS. It is Taken with Teal, Always Artichoke and Purely Pomegranate. I used some of grandma's ribbon and dyed it with the marker. Simple card. Busy day. Hope I can stamp some.
Yesterday my sister called me on her way to work and offered to help me the night of the big auction. She is the best. Here is another card I made for her. This is one of several for her birthday.
Today I ran all morning to local restaurants trying to get them to donate food for auction that I am co-chair. The auction is in November and is becoming a bigger project than I had ever believed. It is cutting into my stamping time. Today after picking up carpool I got home and the doorbell rang. It was the postman. Yes he does not come till the late afternoon but that is a story in itself. He had a package for me from Kristine R. aka the MOJO QUEEN. In the package was this great card and a little MOJO for me. Kristine made me a binder with all of the SCS sketch and color challenges. On the front cover it said Melissa's MOJO. She is the best! Than I actually got to talk to her in person. I was so excited. I felt like I was talking to the Rachel Ray of stamping. I admire her work so much. I felt bad I could not talk to her longer but is was dinner time and the kids were yelling for me to open up the cans of soup! Thanks again Kristine and Good Luck with your new Designer Team assignments.
My sister's birthday is Saturday. We are 17 months apart. Before Katrina she lived in Lakeview and now lives in Baton Rouge. After the storm Stephanie taught us that "less is more". No more non consumable gifts for her. When I started stamping she was one of my biggest supporters. I email her most of my projects to see what she thinks. Here is a card I made for her. She likes black.
I was reading some of the blogs I follow the other day and came across Prairie Paper & Ink's blog. Amy is the Design Team Coordinator for ATS and is looking for a team to coordinate. I thought why not give it a try but all I have is cards on my blog and no 3D projects. Analynn needed something to keep her growing hair bling supply and I needed a project. This is what I came up with. I used the SU Cutie Pie designer paper to cover the letters and then stamped one of the flowers from Two Cute stamp set in Versamark and than embossed them. They were easy to cut out. Analynn loves it. I hope you do too.
Here is my Halloween Card finished. I love the SU Creepy Crawly Designer Paper. The ribbon is May Art. I really like the quality of the ribbon. I need to get more of their ribbon. What you think of the black flower? I made this card for a swap I am doing.

I love doing the Sketch Challenges on SCS. I had the SU Two Cute set sitting on my stamping table so I decided to get a little more use of it. I kinda picked the colors to go with the ribbon. I had gotten this ribbon in the $1 bin at Michael's and liked but have had it for several months. I was a little hesitant when I saw todays sketch but I am overall pleased with my card and may have to make some RAK's of it.
Groovy Guava and Always Artichoke were the colors for today's Color Challenge on SCS. I like these colors together. Emily did a great job. I used the SU Floral background stamp , SU Happpy Everything set and SU Two Cute set. Today was Timothy's first day of school and as the time to go get him got shorter my list of things to get done got longer.
