This is the card I made for the SNS release party color challenge. You needed to use orange, black and white. The stamp is Gretchen stamp set. I think it is kinda Halloweenish instead of Fallish. I used my markers to doodle the dots.
Of course I waited to the last minute to make the kids birthday invitations. I used Gina K's Kindred Spirits series for Timothy's invitation. I colored them with Prisma pencils. I love the paper I found at Scrappersaurus store. Timothy said he really liked them.
A couple of weeks ago the bellaholics yahoo group had a JATC swap. I knew I wanted to use the "I look so good on a bike abell". I did alot of masking technique to get the look of riding through a flower field. Note to self next time find a flower stamp with a group of flowers instead of individual flowers. Took a lot of time to do. I made 15 of them. I really like how they came out. Of course I did not make one for myself.
Wondering where I have been? I have been doing some things for Scrappersaurus Design Team and have been busy evacuating for Hurricane Gustave. We are home now and getting back to some normalcy if that includes watching the weather channel constantly to see where Hurricane Ike is going. This morning it looks like it will be going in on the western Gulf.
Alright back to some crafting. I made this bra for Scrappersaurus's Bra decorating contest. I thought the "Where Y'at?" sediment was perfect for the bra. I did it in white and pink beads for breast cancer awareness. I did not win but came in second. Next time I will do better on presentation. You live and learn.
I made this card to teach at Basic Stamping at Scrappersaurus. I really liked the sketch. I think I will use it again. I got all of the supplies at the store. I embossed the stamped image during the class since this one smeared. Hope you like. I am off to the hospital for 12 hours of work.
Look what I got from my Bella Sistah, Mary. I love the sentiments with the clear stamps. Mary and I were having a diet contest. I love the cloud on her card. I am going to ink up Mwahbella this weekend.
I have been busy getting some projects done for a class I am teaching at Pelican Park, our local recreation department. I got the class through Scrappersaurus. This card is for the Basic Stamping Class. I really like how it came out. I made some thank you notes with these cards.
This summer we decided to vacation in our home town. We journeyed across Lake Pontchatrain to the Big Easy. We spent 3 days in New Orleans. The kids had a great time. We went to the Insectarium, the Aquarium, the French Quater, rode on the streetcar and went down the Mississippi River on the Natchez Paddlewheel. We enjoyed the the great food of our great city. Since coming home I have been very busy doing some projects for Scrappersaurus Scrapbook store. I will be back tomorrow to start showing you some.
